Style Recycled: My $20 Thrift Store Shopping Extravaganza Me and my ladies at an in-store fashion event. My blue dress was a $10 find from a thrift store in Vancouver, BC. Now that I’m back in NYC I’ve found a haven of style amongst my most fashionable friends who know how to shop on a bargain. I thought that I was pretty good at picking out great thrift store items, but these ladies bust down vintage deals like no other. Twenty dollar Gucci bags? A cinch! Diane Von Ferstenburg rap dress found on resale for $5? A typical afternoon. At least these things were completely possible for them on a weekly basis. So it was a true surprise when I was able to join the team and also embark on my first discounted thrift store shopping spree last Wednesday. After getting 50 percent off already low prices...

Vixen of the Week: Sheena Neal - Curly Top Vintage During Fashion Week in NYC I had the pleasure of attending the Texture Media runway show featuring tons of kinky, curly beauties and lots of brands made specifically for textured hair.
